Armed Forces Day Attractions and Running order

At Isle of Wight Armed Forces Day this year, we have some stunning attractions. Ranging from the Red Arrows in the Air, to Fort Cumberland Guard on the beach. On this page you will find all the attractions and the events running order. All are subject to change so either bookmark the page or follow us on Facebook for the vary latest amendments.

1240 – 1300  Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Chase Display ( TBC ) Beach
1300 – 1330  Vectis Corps of Drums Marching Band Eastern Gardens
1330 – 1430 Fort Cumberland Guard Display DZ on the Beach
1430 – 1530 Live Music from The Vintage Trio Eastern Gardens
1530 – 1545 Vectis Guards Mortar Display DZ on the Beach
1600 – 1630 RN Parachute Display team to drop DZ on the Beach
1630 – 1645 Closing ceremony Eastern Gardens
1645 – 1700 Background music and close Eastern Gardens

Static Attractions

Peppered throughout the site, are various static engagement stands, attractions and Forces supporting charities. Plus of course the main stage located on Eastern Garden with a full programme of music across the day. MORE are being added as the date gets closer. All timings and running order are subject to change as the event adapts to assets, attractions and logistics.

Isle of Wight Armed Forces Day – Site Map

The location for Isle of Wight Armed Forces Day is Eastern Gardens, in Ryde. It extends onto the grassed areas around the LA Bowl, Ryde Marina and of course Ryde Beach. As the attractions locations are finalised, so an updated site map will be produced to download.
