The Birthday Bus Experience

If you are one of the chosen few, you’ll be invited to Isle of Wight Bus and Coach Museum to board the Birthday Bus, which will take you to Isle of Wight Armed Forces Day. Fear not, its only a 10 minute trip and for you, its straight into the VIP area. There, the bus will park up with a seaside view of where the Red Arrows will be displaying. Oh, did we mention you get to sit on the top deck, enjoying a panoramic view of the display?

Before the display,  Red 10 – Squadron Leader Graeme Muscat, will be escorted to the bus and straight up onto the top deck to meet you. You’ll be able chat, grab a photo or two, enjoying some time with a real Red Arrow!!! He then has to go to work and this is part two of this incredible competition. Staying aboard the bus, you get to view the FULL DISPLAY, from 1130 in the comfort of a top deck seat.

It doesnt end there

Once the Red Arrows finish their display, the Vehicle and Marching Parade forms up and begins. Guess what? The Birthday Bus is part of that parade! The Bus will depart and join the parade, following the Royal British Legion Bikers and the Military Jeeps. You’ll be in the thick of it with a grandstand view. Once past the Saluting Dais, you will be returned to the starting location, where you disembark to go and enjoy the rest of the event.
